Subaru, a brand known to be one of the most reliable in the auto industry, is hoping its 2017 Forester, scheduled to debut in July, will have the quietest cabin ever.
According to a car news article at Autoweek, previous models were plagued by high noise levels in the interior. Subaru is stepping up its efforts so that consumers can enjoy a quiet cabin by adding sound deadening features, thicker glass, an acoustic windshield, and weather stripping. The company hopes that by refining the cabin, road noise that was a common complaint in the past will be substantially reduced.
Other changes to the popular crossover include a newly designed grille and headlights, along with front bumper cover. The new 2017 Forester will also offer intelligent high beams which allow headlights to dim automatically for oncoming traffic, and a Starlink infotainment system that will be standard for all trim levels including base, Premium, Limited, and Touring spec.
No doubt by offering a quieter cabin and shutting out road noise, more people will “love” the new 2017 Subaru Forester. After all, ‘Love – it’s what makes a Subaru a Subaru.’ They do have some great television commercials!
